The Association of Old Crows and the Dixie Crow Chapter

The Association of Old Crows is an organization for individuals who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations (EMSO), Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Information Operations (IO), and other information related capabilities. The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.

The Dixie Crows facilitate the objectives of the Association through social events, technical symposia, monthly meetings with guest speakers, and a monthly newsletter. The Chapter recognized the need to create a forum for users, developers, and maintainers of Electronic Warfare systems and components to share information and discuss common challenges, and held its first symposium in 1976. The symposium has become an annual event - attended by representatives from industry, academia and government, some traveling great distances to meet and/or present with us each year. In addition to being a forum for technical interchange, the symposium is also a major fund-raiser - supporting the Dixie Crow Scholarship Fund, and providing donations to various communities and charitable organizations.

The Chapter leadership established a Scholarship Fund in 1979 to provide assistance to deserving individuals pursuing a degree in engineering/hard sciences with the potential for enhancing the field of Electronic Warfare. The scholarships have been extended to DoD civilians and military enlisted personnel. The Dixie Crow Chapter also supports the Museum of Aviation with contributions to benefit the Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation. In addition to financial contribution, Dixie Crow members have participated in Habitat for Humanity - building homes for those who otherwise may not know the joy of home ownership.

The Dixie Crow Chapter is a vibrant organization with a bright future, and works diligently to preserve, promote and advance Electronic Warfare technology in the defense of our great nation. Feel free to contact our Chapter President Adam Delestowicz or any Board Member with any questions or comments. We look forward to hearing from you!
